Trunk shows are special events we host in partnership with our designers to preview brand-new seasonal styles and bring even more style choices into our store for brides. Designers ship sample gowns to us, which are available for brides to see and try on for a limited time. Trunk shows are excellent opportunities for brides to see the newest in bridal fashion from top designers such as Essense of Australia, Martina Liana, Stella York, All Who Wander, and Eddy K. Each trunk show features new styles from one of our designers, highlighting that designer.
How Long is a Trunk Show Event?
Each designer offers trunk shows for varying durations. Trunk shows can be available for one weekend only, two weekends, or up to four weekends. Brides find their dream dresses at trunk show events all the time, so we recommend planning to have your important loved ones with you during your appointment to say yes to the dress and purchase.
How Many Dresses Come in a Trunk Show?
A trunk show event can feature 10-25 brand-new seasonal styles.
What Sizes are Included in a Trunk Show?
Standard-size trunk shows will generally feature sample dresses in sizes 8-18, depending on the designer. Plus-size trunk shows will feature sample dresses in sizes 20-34.

Can Trunk Show Sample Dresses be Purchased?
The trunk show samples are on loan from the designer, so they cannot be purchased off the rack, like our in-stock wedding dresses. The trunk show sample dresses can be special-ordered from the designer.
How Much Ordering Time is Needed for a Trunk Show Dress?
Trunk show dresses will generally require the standard production and shipping time of 4-6 months, depending on the designer. Brides interested in special-ordering from a trunk show event should allow 9-12 months for production, shipping, and alterations before the wedding.
Are Trunk Show Wedding Dresses Discounted? Is a Trunk Show a Sale Event?
Trunk show wedding dresses are not discounted and are sold at the designer's MSRP pricing. The designers do not allow discounting. Trunk shows are not sales events.
Will the Prices Change After the Trunk Show?
We cannot predict what pricing will be for specific dresses in the future; however, we know that the price during the trunk show is the best. Depending on the cost of materials, production costs, labor costs, and shipping costs, designers may choose to increase the MSRP pricing on dresses at a later date if those costs increase.
Can a Trunk Show Dress be Ordered After the Trunk Show Has Ended?
Yes, trunk show dresses can be ordered after the trunk show has ended.
Can a Trunk Show Dress be Tried On and Seen Again After the Trunk Show Has Ended?
Yes, it may be possible to request a sample on loan from the designer at a later time. Sample availability varies by designer. The bride will be responsible for the shipping cost to have the dress sent to the store for her.
Can Trunk Show Dresses be Customized?
Depending on the designer, customization may be available. Martina Liana offers customization options for Martina Liana styles, so Martina Liana trunk show dresses would be customizable. Other designers may offer different ordering options for their dresses, such as with or without sleeves, a lined or unlined bodice, beading or no beading, lace appliques or no lace appliques, a glitter tulle layer or plain tulle layer, and standard color offerings.
